Purpose of this Section

This section aims to provide your Science department with learning support materials, information, and curriculum debate and discussion related to all aspects of Geoscience education. EdRSR are specialists in geoscience education (Meet the team).

EdRSR aims to provide easy access to the vast resources (as well as original EdRSR resources) now available for teaching Planet Earth and Beyond. The Earth and Space Science (ESS) strand at Years 12 and 13 Science is an expanding subject area and provides unique learning challenges as well as educating your students about how the Earth works. See the section on trialling level 2 materials where your students can be the first to gain credits at Level 2 science and seriously contribute to a robust NCEA system.

EdRSR also invites you to build on the work of the International Geoscience Education Organisation's (IGEO) establishment of the Earth Learning Idea where a vast library of practical experiments and resources are now available.
